Our Team

Heather Bemis AIA, NCARB, LEED® AP BD+C
Founder, CEO, Scheduling Expert

Before founding SWAP Integration®, Heather practiced architecture for more than 15 years with a focus on higher education and science/technology buildings. While Heather was successfully managing large, complex projects, she found true success after being introduced to a scheduling process known as pull planning. Once becoming an expert on this process, Heather made it her mission to implement it on every project she managed.

For the next seven years, she facilitated workflow plans for the large architectural firm she was working for, sharing her appreciation for efficient scheduling with anyone who would listen. With each pull plan Heather facilitated, she was able to establish continuous improvement through the principles of accountability, communication, and transparency. This is how SWAP Integration blossomed.

Heather is married to the love of her life, Trey and they have two beautiful daughters, Tessa and Sylvie. In her free time, Heather enjoys hiking, skiing, college football, volleyball (sand and court), photography, and crochet.
